Right Direction, Wrong Direction

One thing that has shocked liberals about the past election is the polls showing over 50 percent of people thought the country was "headed in the wrong direction." Yes, liberals just knew this was bad news for President Bush. They assumed the majority of voters would blame President Bush and replace him with their Massachucetts Liberal, John Kerry.

What pollsters failed to ask was, "Who do you blame?"

My guess is the answers would have been many and varied with only a small percentage blaming
George W. Bush, but the short answer would be:

Blame liberals, extremists, terrorists, socialists and Democrats: 51%
Blame Patriots, conservatives, religion, war in Iraq, John Ashcroft, and George W. Bush: 48%

So you see, ladies and gentlemen the voters gave us the true answer to this polling question. If the pollsters had followed up on the question to get more specifics, liberals may not have gotten the false read on the pulse of the American electorate.

There are reports that many heartbroken liberals are considering a move to
Canada.

Do us a favor, liberals. Please be sure to renounce your American citizenship when you move to the cold north. We don't want you back.

Oh, and for God's sake, please take
Michael Moore with you.

Life is
good!
